We tend to think of ourselves as modern people delving occasionally into an alien primitive environment.

In reality, we are primitive people trying to cope with life in an alien modern environment. Nature is not an aesthetic, it is our most fundamental matrix ("matrix" from the word for "mother"), and every cell in our bodies longs desperately for the smell, sight, touch, taste and connections that time spent in our matrix provides.

Guided nature immersions have been proven to help reduce stress hormones, lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety and depression, and increase feelings of joy and peace.
